PSC Preparedness or Closeout Verification

This inspection is not a routine internal audit or condition inspection. It is a PSC biased / focused physical condition inspection, concentrated on physical defects that are under PSC inspection. This will determine if deficiencies are closed and if corrective actions have been implemented to avoid future occurrences.

Additionally, this inspection intends to prepare crew onboard ships to get familiarization with items and questions usually required by PSCO.
